This is Sadie, she is a black lab mix. I had to restart this portrait because of paper issues. This beautiful reference photo was taken by Heath Photo

There are 4 stages so far. The first is the line drawing and underpainting colour along with the eyes. The second is blocking in some darks and the third is adding some colours to the collar, tongue, nose and some mid-tones. The 4th stage is more mid tones on the ear and more colour on the collar.
