As time allowed, Pat began refining her skills through workshops that deepened her technical foundation and artistic voice. In 2006, she studied under renowned UK artist Vic Bearcroft, where she discovered her enduring passion for pastel and animal portraiture. A year later, she returned to the UK for another transformative workshop led by Vic Bearcroft and Mike Sibley, exploring both graphite and pastel mediums. In 2009, she attended a workshop with Lesley Harrison, whose mastery of pastel left a lasting influence on her work.

In recent years, Pat has expanded her artistic expression into watercolour, embracing its luminosity and fluidity while maintaining the realism and sensitivity that define her style. Whether working in pastel or watercolour, her goal remains the same—to capture the essence and spirit of her subjects with warmth and precision.
